AS400 Programmer / IBM i Developer

Avows Technologies is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient AS400 Programmer to join our expanding IT team in Jakarta Pusat. As an AS400 Developer, you will play a critical role in maintaining, developing, and optimizing our core IBM i (AS/400) business applications. In this role, you will be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging RPG, COBOL, and CL programs, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards. You will also work closely with our team to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop, maintain, and optimize IBM i (AS/400) applications using RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write, test, and debug programs to ensure they meet business requirements and industry standards.
• Implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in IBM i technology and industry trends.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IBM i (AS/400) programming.
• Proficiency in RPG, COBOL, and CL programming languages.
• Experience with IBM i database management and SQL.
• Familiarity with IBM i development tools such as Rational Developer for i, IBM i Access Client Solutions, and IBM i Navigator.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
